Assistant Management Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum Hybrid Working
Industry leading fashion business are seeking a part qualified assistant management accountant to join their dynamic finance function.
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager and will work as part of a team alongside the experienced and knowledgeable senior finance partners & accountants.
Main Duties:
– Supporting the Finance Manager to complete the Month end process and reconciliations including preparation of accruals & prepayments schedules, bank reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliations.
– Supporting the transactional finance function, working closely with them to ensure correct procedure (processing of invoices, supplier statements, preparation of payments)
– Assist with the YE audit, annual statutory accounts, interim reporting
– Assist with tax compliance.
– Assistance in the preparation of VAT returns.
– Assist the Finance Manager with sales ledger processing & analysis
– Monitoring of accounts receivable
– Ad hoc support to other areas of the business from a finance perspective

– Part Qualified accountant
– Excellent attention to detail
– Excellent organisational and communication skills
– Excellent knowledge of Excel
– Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
– Willingness to learn and be part of a team
