NEW OPPORTUNITY (JUNIOR/MIDWEIGHT)

We have a great opportunity for a junior/ midweight designer with strong creative thinking and communication skills to join our team.

The role spans across retail design, hospitality and brand development – experience in these areas is beneficial, a motivation to learn and collaborate is even more valuable.

We create design solutions in retail and hospitality sectors and create brand identity and marketing. KVB Design is made up of a multi-skilled team, that collaborate to create successful brand experiences. We are based in the UK, 90% of our work is overseas with international brands.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative thinker with an industry experience who shares our passion for design. Every member of our team collaborates in each project, we are looking for a team member who is willing to learn and contribute to a wide variety of design disciplines. All our team members share an appreciation for visual aesthetics, functionality, and a strong critical sense of wanting to improve customer experiences.

We believe that great design is created when the designer creates a close relationship with the client, therefore strong communication skills are key to the role. Occasional international travel is required to meet our clients.

Daily team tasks include creative idea generation, 2D space planning, 3D visualisation, presentation material creation, presentation to clients, detail design and drawing creation, materials selection etc.

We use industry wide programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks, 3D StudioMax and Microsoft Office – experience in these programs or similar is essential. Hand sketching skills are always our go-to way to collaborate within the team.

This is an office-based role, in our studio in Henley-on-Thames (located between Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire).
