Applications Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £27000/annum
Applications Engineer required to join a growing Manufacturing company which develops, manufactures, sells and maintains waste handling equipment based within the Kidderminster area.
The successful candidate would be responsible for providing engineering support and information to the Sales, Purchasing, Production and Service departments.
Applications Engineer Position Overview
Provide and support manufacturing and production with technical drawings and electric and hydraulic schematics as needed.
Provide internal and external customers with design drawings, which may include the obtaining of costing's.
Ensure compliance to all relevant standards and regulations relating to the products manufactured by the company.
Provide Purchase Department & Suppliers with drawings, BoM's and technical information.
Engineering admission to include the processing of design change requests.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including chassis manufacturers as and when required.Applications Engineer Position Requirements
Be able to understand and interpret technical drawings
Engineering Qualification(s) is essential (or in the process of obtaining)
Working knowledge of solid works is essential (2D AutoCAD also advantageous)
Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills are vital.
Knowledge and working understanding of Auto-electrics and hydraulics would be advantageous
Ability to solve problems and follow projects through to conclusions
Excellent Communication skills

Monday – Friday – 08:30am to 16:30pm (16:00pm finish on Fridays) 37 hours.
Salary – £24k – £27k (DOE)
33 days holiday ( including BH)
