Senior Auction Photographer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum
A world renowned and niche Auction House based in the Charing Cross area is seeking a Senior Auction Photographer, paying between £35,000-£45,000 based on experience plus an extensive benefits package.
The role will be supporting the team with the photography of the auction lots/ antiquities to produce both online and physical Auction Catalogues, with the responsibility of photographing, editing all of the lot images. This role will also work along side and mentor a more junior auction photographer in time.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and attributes:
Experience working as a professional photographer, preferably in an auction house environment. Having experience photographing objects or antiquities.
Have experience handling collectibles or antiquities
Experience working in Adobe Photoshop in the post-production of images
Excellent attention to detail and precision with work.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, with particular emphasis on Excel.
Strong numeracy skills.
Ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines, working towards specific dates of auctions both in person and onlineIf you have a strong background working as a professional photographer, ideally within an Auction house then please do apply!
