The Role – Behaviour Mentor
For this role, I am actively looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to support a student in Year 7 with Autism. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 basis, providing academic and emotional support to the students, encouraging them take an independent and proactive approach to their learning. Due to the student's needs, the ideal Behaviour Mentor will need to have experience working with children or young people who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
SEN School – Behaviour Mentor
This thriving SEN school is located in Hayes, Hillingdon and caters for students aged between 11-19 years with Special Educational Needs such as ASD, SLD and PMLD. They currently have 120 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' form their last inspection in May 2019.
