My client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Leighton Buzzard to Oversee their Private School Interior Design projects. From Pre-Contract phase to completion the right candidate will be able to take ownership in managing refurbishment and fit-out projects.
The role will include site visits so will require travel with occasional overnight stays predominately north of Leighton Buzzard.
Requirements:
* Coordination/ Site set up. Programme management, change management, subcontractor/client communications, handover/snagging process management.
* Ongoing client care and relations.
* Scoping, specification writing, cost estimating and site visits.
* Valuations and cost management.
* Ongoing client care and relations.
* Full project closure.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Previous tool/trade experience
* Experience working as project manager or similar with construction/D&B/fit out projects.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with values up to £1M.
* Experience in estimating, tendering and costings – preparation is highly desirable.
* Strong IT skills.
* Strong leadership qualities and the ability to gain respect and confidence of all internal and external stakeholders.
* Previous Experience working with SME's
