Junior multi product designer
Our client is born out of a passion for life outdoors, inspired by the most incredible surroundings of beautiful beaches and the rolling Purbeck hills. We all share a passion for the outdoors in one way or another and love that our clothing ranges represent our way of life.
We are currently looking for an energetic, highly creative, and enthusiastic junior designer with a hands-on approach to join our expanding head office product design team. You will be part of a fast paced, dedicated, and passionate team helping to bring the Brakeburn product and vision to life.
Responsible for:
Creating detailed tech packs, CAD designs and colour ups for presentation and supplier purposes.
Working alongside the Product designers to create multi category men's and women's collections.
Undertaking trend and competitor research alongside tradeshows.
Working within the season set critical path.
You will identify and translate designs that are on brand ensuring the DNA of the brand is always at the heart of each design.
Creating and developing new and interesting branding devices / badges that fit with the vision of the products.
Working on seasonal phots-hoots and launch presentations.
Role requirements:
Fashion/design related Degree
Industry relevant placement or up to 2 years industry experience within a similar role.
Experience across multi products would be an advantage
You will be a well organised, a confident communicator, experienced in managing priorities and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
Proficient in Adobe creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Confident and skilled communicator
Energized by working in a busy creative environment.
Working as part of a team, having a hands-on approach, taking ownership of workloads and deadlines.What we offer:
Hours: 9.30am- 6pm 5 days a week in head office
Summer Friday early finish working hours
Annual leave: 22 days inc bank holidays
