ATA are exclusively working with a leading manufacturer of material handling solutions, for over 40 years our client has been a market leader in conveyor systems, grit capture and water waste systems. This Swedish owned business has seen a 20% per year growth over the last 5 years and have offices worldwide including Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, and the USA.
Currently the UK base is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to work closely with their dynamic team in Oxfordshire, the UK site generate an annual turnover of over £20 million and due to high client demands and orders they are offering a Mechanical Design Engineer a rare opportunity to join their successful business with a realistic opportunity to become a project engineer.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a key role to provide and implement your expertise on various projects, aiding the sales team with drawings to help with tenders and working on projects valued up to 1 million and more.
The Mechanical Design Engineer’s key responsibility will be to:
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models
Produce both bespoke and standard drawings
Produce general arrangement drawings in line with business and safety standards
Assist with client site visits for surveys and layout drawings
Generate applications drawings for new products
The Candidate:
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
CAD experience in 2D and 3D
A mechanical engineering background
A team player mentality
