Packaging Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £35000/annum DOE plus benefits
A new opportunity has arisen for a PACKAGING DESIGNER to join a growing marketing business based in the Medway area and continue to drive the product range that they deliver to a number of large corporate brands across high street and e commerce sectors.
This role will see the successful hire being part of a small design team and be responsible for delivering high quality design across the whole life-cycle of the process from concept to fulfilled orders.
Any experience of dealing with FMCG sector or lifestyle brands would be an advantage and any knowledge gained in seasonal product design would be of interest.
You will use CAD systems with specific software to take designs through the process and lead on design conversations within the Design team. These conversations and discussions will lead to the production of samples and prototypes for projects and gaining sign off on these. Any experience of using Large Format Printing would be advantageous for the sampling process and use of systems such as Impact, Arden and Artios.
You will have a strong awareness of the commercials for projects and be comfortable handling discussions around costs etc
This role will require a highly organised individual as the role has seasonal demands across multiple projects and a strong administration process will be needed to manage the workload. Your key skills will also be well developed in areas such as Problem Solving, Communication, IT, Team Ethic and attention to detail.
