My client is a leading main building contractor that is well established in the market place. They operate regionally producing successful design and build projects. Due to an increase in recent contracts, they currently are in need a Design Manager to join their team.
They require the design manager to have experience in delivering industrial new builds. They have a client that works within refrigeration so experience within that would be advantageous.
The Design Manager will work on several large industrial schemes between £10million to £15million in value.
The schemes are technically challenging, they require a strong Design Manager with this type of delivery experience. That can be on hand to visit sites as and when required, that can be a strong lead from the design perspective offer assistance and overcome issues with technical advice when required on the projects.
This is a excellent opportunity for a Design Manager probably suit and engineering background. My client have an large pipeline of works with this client.
You will have proven experience of the following.
Various forms of construction technology.
Using Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
Management of multiple projects or Projects of a complex nature or high value
Experience working on refrigeration or industrial new builds
You will be HNC / HND / or hold a Degree in Design or Construction. Those candidate's with any MICOB qualification.
