Our client is looking high and low for a Creative Graphic Designer to support with the creation and development of innovative brands.

They were awarded the ‘Young Creative Business of the Year 2022’ at the Generation Next East Midlands award. They are a young, hungry and up-coming agency who aren’t scared to disrupt markets and present client’s solutions that challenge the perception of their brand.
The client works with everything from household names to passionate start-up entrepreneurs, growing their ideas and achieving their business goals. Everything from designing logos, brand messaging, brand identity, web design, social media design, illustration, tone of voice, advertising campaigns & 3D.
They are a small, close, hard-working team but punch well above their weight with the projects that come through the door, as a result, this designer will embody the agency’s passion and attitude to get stuck in right from the start, working on in-depth design projects from day one.
They are based in a spacious, top-floor, 'penthouse-style' office in the heart of Leicester.
Oh, and we almost forgot! They have a Golden Retriever, Marmalade, who is in the office most days (surely the icing on the cake!)
Graphic Designer Role
* You will work on branding projects from the initial briefing stage through to research, concept and execution across various applications.
* You will be confident interacting and presenting to clients, understanding and talking through their needs and delivering work to meet their requirements.
* You will also assist with ongoing requests from existing clients including social media graphics, marketing material and website maintenance.
As a young, growing agency it is vital a candidate shows a ‘can-do’ enthusiastic attitude to an ever-changing workload and happy to lend their hand to new skills and tasks. This is a great opportunity for a driven designer to gain great end-to-end experience and take responsibility for creating brands alongside business owners. It is essential you have a business expansion mindset and are confident attending networking events to represent the company. As an agency making ‘noise’ in the local (and national) area, they are committed to growing brand reputation and expect this to include staff of all levels.
Skills
* Proficient in the using Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Experience with Adobe XD or After Effects is also advantageous.
* Able to create and set up print-ready artwork. Packaging design experience is advantageous.
* Experience working and setting up digital artwork is essential.
* Awareness of the latest design trends, formats and how to make them appropriate for our wide-ranging client base.
* The ability to create content for their website and social media channels.
Attributes
* Ability to generate disruptive conceptual ideas and take them through to final stages and execution. This will be in collaboration with the creative director.
* Passion to research and explore design projects, using inspiration from every-day life, art and culture to enhance and improve concepts.
* Willingness to work and collaborate with clients and other creatives to create the scoped work.
* Manage your own workload whilst delivering to the agreed deadline using workflow management software.
What experience do you need?
* 2-3 years’ experience in a Graphic Design related role, in a multi-disciplined agency or in-house environment is advantageous.
* A multi-disciplined portfolio, showcasing projects in all areas of Graphic Design including branding, packaging, digital and web.
* A 2:1 or above in an applicable design-related subject is essential.
