Currently turning over 10 million per year, they have expanded their reach to bustling industrial markets in China, Malaysia, India, Africa, and the USA. Due to high client demands and growth plans they are looking to add a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their vibrant and close team in Worcestershire.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will work alongside industry experts to help drive the business to achieve their 2023 goals and help with the increasing client demands.
The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved with the various internal departments as an integral link between design and sales.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating and modifying existing drawings
Creating or modify bill of materials for manufacturing
Maintaining documentation and producing item request forms
Producing simple to detailed designs in 2D and 3D using CAD packages
Liaising with internal departments to help with client queries
The Candidate
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
An engineering qualification
CAD experience in 2D and 3D
Good communication skills
A team player mentality
The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
