We are looking for an experienced, confident and creative fashion Accessories Designer to join the team in London. You will work along side our talented, multi-disciplined design team across a diverse range of projects including bags, gifts and accessories. This is a varied role with lots of opportunity to learn and develop whilst working with some of our industry leading clients such as Clarins, Estee Lauder, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger.
Accessories Designer Responsibilities:
* Leading projects with creativity and confidence to develop innovative designs that support our client’s brand.
* Work across the entire creative process from researching and generating ideas right through to supplying design specifications and sampling.
* Research and analysis of fashion trends to create forecasts that will give inspiration and design direction to projects.
* Mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Researching and developing new sustainable practices throughout design, materials and our manufacturing processes.
* Working on H&B New Business opportunities and marketing Strategies.
Requirements
* Industry experience in a similar role
* University degree in Fashion/Accessories Design or similar design field
* A skilled communicator, confident at presenting projects and explaining their design process
* Strong interest in fashion and beauty accessories
* Enthusiastic and eager to get involved in different areas of design whilst learning new skills
* A good knowledge of fabrics, bag constructions and costs
* Experience in packaging and product design is also beneficial
* High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
