Here’s a brand-new role we are really excited about – Animation and Graphic Design Associate. As part of the wider marketing and business development team, you will have full autonomy to shape the role to yourself. The position will be available, initially, on a 1-year contract and will be primarily office-based in Norwich.
The role will involve animation, video editing, content creation, editing, graphic layouts and helping us to tell brand stories. You will illustrate story-boards, visualise product solutions, and develop graphic concepts. You will take and interpret technical information to provide engaging visual content using software such as 3D Studio or Blender (essential knowledge of either required).
We are looking for ingenious communicators who are brimming with ideas and novel concepts to communicate with a global audience. This role would suit someone who is interested in bringing ideas to life through their skills in animation and design – an interest in the engineering, research & development sector will also help.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Lead the production of high-quality 3D animation and video editing.
* Create standout and engaging creative assets (print & digital) to support brand and product communications for all channels including website, social, email, and digital print/print ads.
* Development of early-stage visuals to help us to understand our customers’ challenges and relevance of our designs.
* Working within the marketing team to develop graphic concepts for required marketing assets
Essential Skills you will need:
* 3D Studio/Blender experience is essential. However, relevant other software are also welcome. Unity and Unreal Engine experience is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of working with the Adobe suite would be advantageous (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
* Previous work experience with animation, graphics, and systems with a focus on print and digital is a big advantage.
* Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate the brief internally.
* Creative flair, originality, and a strong visual sense.
