Architectural BIM Manager / Technologist

Architectural BIM Manager / Technologist required to join a family run modular Construction business in Hull that specialises in providing modern and durable space solutions to national health services trusts across the UK.
Using modern methods of construction and their flexible approach to building design development our client creates bespoke sustainable buildings with innovative designs driven by the individual needs of each NHS trust. Buildings are delivered rapidly and will have the flexibility to cater for a myriad of potential future uses where NHS staff are well equipped to carry out their inspirational work.
Projects currently going through the design stages are two specialist theatre buildings with a project value of £10m and £22m respectively.
The Architectural BIM Manager / Technologist will join the in-house Design team and report to the head of design, the purpose of the role is to promote BIM best practice & compliance within the team and ensure they are meeting the standards to retain their ISO BIM accreditation in the future.
Alongside implementing best practice, you will also be expected to develop their BIM strategy and spearhead implementing BIM methodologies from strategy level through to project delivery.
Alongside the BIM Management responsibilities, you will also be given the opportunity to work alongside the Head of Design and support some of the design requirements in the team, it's envisaged the role will be 80-90% BIM based with any spare capacity focussed on design and technical needs.
The ideal background for this role would be an experienced Senior Level Architectural Technologist or Architect that has expert levels of BIM knowledge within an Architectural environment.
The Architectural BIM Manager / Technologist will have the following background.
Architectural Technologist of Architect with extensive BIM Management experience.
At least 10 years industry experience within an Architectural Practice or consultancy setting.
Author key BIM documentation and workflows aligned to industry best practice.
The ability to promote BIM best practice, compliance, Audits and implement a BIM strategy.
Interface with clients, design teams and contractors implementing BIM methodologies.
Design & Technical capabilities / REVIT proficiency.
Previous project exposure to Healthcare or Care related project work – this is not essential.
Keen to add value to an in-house design function and be a team player.
This is a predominantly remote based position with travel to their offices 1-2 days per week, salary depending on suitability and experience between £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + benefits.
