Salary :
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required. Bennett and Game are currently representing a well-established supplier of Industrial Sensors and are in the market to hire a Senior Design Engineer for their site in Burton-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment confident in their ability to design in 3D, including the creation of assemblies and 2D drawings, preferably using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate should have a full clean driving license and be within a commutable distance Burton-on-Trent.
Senior Design Engineer Position Overview
Design and develop new products from the initial concept, all the way through to production.
To create design solutions for new customers
Creation of 3D models and manufacturing drawings
The Management of product bills of materials
Senior Design Engineer Position Requirements
5-10 years Design experience in a manufacturing environment
Qualified in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical
Experience designing cast, moulded and machined components from conception
Familiar with electrics would be an advantage
Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of SAGE or MRP software advantageous
Senior Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Full time, 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
