Graphic Designer
The main purpose of the role is to create visual assets to promote the brand value proposition and key messages for all stakeholders, and to effectively communicate about our products and services.
You will be joining a fun, non-conventional internal team who are always looking to self-improve and develop. We’re looking for a designer that loves to create high performing content. To be clear, it’s a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the business is moving ahead fast, which means you must be ‘OK with change’ and happy to ‘leap in’ and support any of our projects.
Hybrid working – You will be required to be in Alton, Hampshire once a week (4x per month)
Core working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-5pm.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
This role will present a variety of work mostly within the social / digital marketing space; hence we will be interested in hearing what level of skill & experience you have within the areas listed below:
Role Overview / Experience Requirements
Campaign creative – Working with campaign manager / comms team to design creative assets for a campaign. This will be based around target audience, products / service promoting and goal of the campaign. A typical campaign could be a new product or service launches. Creative could include adverts, web banners, social media ads, email signatures, HTML emails, presentations etc
Print Design – Spectrum for print design is very wide, from corporate clothing and large artic trucks, to brochures, merchandise and exhibition/eventing stands.
Proposals / Presentations – Designing pitch documents and proposals for the sales team to present to customers. This will normally involve designing a template that can be used multiple times.
Product design work – Standardisation of all product branding, including safety decals, logo placement, QR codes for User Guides and the print design and layout for the User Guide itself.
Other design work – Overhaul and updating our recruitment, onboarding and internal team documentation and online materials
Development Opportunities
Taking a lead role in visual branding across products, merchandising, corporate clothing, vehicles.
Working on Brand Guidelines to develop new visual identity, as the brand evolves.
Desireable Experience
Brand development and full brand roll-out – creative agency / medium-large sized brand
Working in a print design environment – print-house / event or exhibition style printing / branded clothing
Useful Software Experience
Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office
Key Personl Skills & Characteristics
A qualification or 2+ years experience in design or a design-orientated course.
Strong creative skillset.
Confident communicator.
Team player & quick learner.
