Location – Tibshelf, Derbyshire
Contract – Permanent role, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.
Working hours – Monday – Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30pm to 4.30pm

They are currently seeking applications for the position of CAD Engineer based at their site in Tibshelf, Derbyshire.
Reporting to the Extrusion Technical Manager, you will be part of the experienced and dedicated technical team committed to providing innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quotations, shape drawings and technical support to customers.
Process new customer enquiries including feasibility study
Liaise with production, engineering and die departments regarding feasibility, design and function of profiles
Liaise with customers regarding profile application and design to ensure an acceptable solution to our customer’s requirements
Produce extrusion shape drawings
Understand Product Approval process
Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Understanding of quality procedures / Romidot Processes.

You will need either of the following qualifications
Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology
Level 2 or 3 Award in 2D Computer-Aided Design
Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Design and Draughting
T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction
T level in Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing
