Excellent opportunity for an FF&E Procurement Manager to join a luxury residential property developer in SW London. This is a maternity cover position offering a salary of up to £40,000 DOE and a hybrid work set up.

Our client is a successful residential property developer with its own interior design and project management departments. They have a contemporary luxury style to their work and cover all stages of the design process from concept through to installation. They are now looking for an organised and focused Procurement Manager to join their friendly team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with experience in a similar role ideally in the interior design sector.

Role & Responsibilities

– Managing the full procurement of all projects, including flooring, furniture, fabrics, bespoke items and soft furnishings
– Finalising purchase details of orders and deliveries
– Monitoring the progress of all orders relating to a project and processing all invoices
– Working closely with the Finance department to ensure the smooth running of the invoicing process and spend per project
– Dealing with installation companies/suppliers to ensure all goods are delivered in time
– Communicating, negotiating and forming strong positive relationships with all trade suppliers
– Liaising with all designers to understand their project procurement requirements and reporting on relevant issues affecting project delivery
– Managing the installation process on site and any subsequent snagging
– Keeping an overview of all upcoming and existing projects
– Providing regular updates to the design team on any issues or delays
– Communicating with staff, clients, suppliers and others in a timely, friendly and professional manner
– Offering proactive suggestions to improve the efficient running of the office
– Managing project budgets and reporting
– Managing internal office related requirements within the company, i.e ordering stationery, supplies, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Required Skills & Experience

– Proven experience organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines
– Experience within a similar role at a management level
– Fully proficient with Excel and Estimac/EstiPC
– Confident and professional manner
– Excellent organisational abilities
– Ability to learn quickly and retain information
– Self-motivation and ability to manage simultaneous projects
– Excellent communication and team working skills.
