Facade Design Coordinator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Responsibilities:
* Advise on suitability of tender submittals, validate product performance and suitability.
* Produce and assist in the production of compliant technical design, schedules and reports.
* Mange allocated internal or external project design and engineering resource.
* Programme, manage, quality review and approve design and engineering output.
* Manage information exchange and coordinate with project design team.
* Present design and engineering output to external reviewers.
* Manage design risk, review and approve risk registers and liaise with project Risk Manager.
* Consult the project delivery team, advise manufacturers, fabricators and suppliers.
* Advise on value engineering proposals, valuate design and engineering progress and review variations.
* Assist in operation and maintenance package preparation.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
* Significant proven experience in a similar role, ideally aligned to a relevant degree.
* Previous experience in dealing with clients, consultants and insurers is required.
* Experienced user of the Auto Desk PDM/AEC and the CAD Plan software suites.
* Excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work with and influence people, build trust and confidence.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with other departments, clients and suppliers.
* Detail oriented with strong time management skills, ability to self-direct work load and accomplish tasks
