Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum
We are looking for a talented and creative Designer, with imprint design experience to join this well-established publisher, working in house.

You Must reside close to the Woodbridge, Suffolk area and have Imprint experience, ideally in publishing/books/magazines.
You will have:
Competitor and marketplace awareness
Support design decisions with industry bench-marking and external artistic references.
Identify new design and illustration trends.
Excellent communication with the team, suppliers, and customers to ensure success.
Build relationships with suppliers and agencies to ensure the best terms and offers.
Project management and briefing of in-house art workers, external freelance designers, and illustrators.
Build a network of reliable and talented freelance designers to work on projects during peak periods.
Create production specifications formats that are unique in the marketplace.

You will have:
Minimum of three years of commercial design experience.
Fantastic typographical and cover design skills and a strong aptitude for the Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to identify new design and illustration trends and integrate them.
Proven track record of success
Creative, passionate, and hardworking personality.
Positive, enthusiastic, and eager for success.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to unforeseen challenges at a moment’s notice.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Vector character art illustration beneficial.
