Design Project Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £33000 – £35000/annum
I am representing a world renowned multinational personal care product manufacturer, whose brands are legendary and have over 150 years of market leading experience! Millions of people are using their products daily and so they have a brilliant reputation to uphold.
The role is an opportunity to join a small and dynamic team responsible for managing the development of packaging design for all their globally recognised brands across EMEA. The main responsibility of the role will be managing external agencies within the complex design process to ensure that all packaging delivers a consistent consumer experience across key markets
You will:
Regular liaison with marketing colleagues across the EMEA
Take the initial brief and comprehensively ensure key eye for detail
Create accurate timelines, which adhere to quality standards
Help manage budgets and purchase orders
Briefing design team and relaying any questions to the relevant department or agency
Communicating with external suppliers and agencies and maintaining thriving relationships
Guaranteeing that the project progresses smoothly through to delivery
Reporting to the Regional Design Lead
What you need to succeed:
Minimum one year's project management experience within a client-side or creative agency environment
Experience managing external agencies
Ideally degree in marketing or design but not necessary
Very high standard of organisation and time management
Key eye for detail
Ability to multi-task in high pressure environments
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a variety of perspectives whilst maintaining respect and a strict decision-making process
As the role operates across Western Europe a European language would be preferred but not necessary
