Electrical Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000/annum
IMH Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for our client based in Belton, North Lincolnshire. In this role you will be responsible for the complete electrical design & documentation.
Main Duties (not limited to) include:
* Ensure that all products are designed to be fit for purpose in accordance with customer requirements, company practice and recognized engineering standards.
* Interpreting written specifications into working prototypes and designs for production.
* Reviewing current project designs to ensure customer requirements are converted into effective design solutions.
* Designing/drawing all electrical components in 3D CAD, Solidworks or VeSys.
* Supporting manufacturing activities throughout the build and completion process.
* Provide input to and contribute to standard product and parts design programme.
* Ensure that all products are designed to be fit-for-purpose in accordance with customer requirements, company practice and recognized engineering standards.
* The role will require day-to-day liaison with internal and external contacts including sales, planning, procurement, manufacturing together with customers and suppliers.
Skills:
* HND or equivalent in electrical engineering.
* Knowledge of VeSys, Capital/Capital Essentials or equivalent.
* BS7671 18th Edition Qualification.
* Inspection and Testing experience preferable.
* Good knowledge of CAN bus systems.
