Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum bonus and benefits

An international consumer electronics and engineering brand are seeking to recruit a Model Maker to join their successful and expanding NPD team. Based near Worcester, you'll benefit from a starting salary of up to £35,000, flexible working, annual bonus and pay review, pension and international travel opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects for an iconic and global household brand.

As a Model Maker will you be responsible for delivering high quality functional and visual models & prototypes to the design studio. Key responsibilities will include:

Producing parts manually from drawings.
Creating silicone tools and operating vacuum casting machinery.
Applying spray finishes to parts with colour and texture matching.
Assembly of parts into finished models.

To be considered for the role of Model Maker, you will require:

Excellent hand model-making skills.
Manual machine competence.
Direct NC programming of lathe.
Competency on a laser cutter.
Using 3D CAD to assist in the inspection and assembly of parts into finished models.
