A Mid Weight Interior Designer job is now available in Central London to work on show home projects in London and the Home Counties. All candidates must have experience working on FF&E design, interior styling and interior architecture. Salary of £35,000 – £40,000.

Currently working on bespoke interiors for high-end residential developments and private schemes, the company's portfolio of projects includes show homes, penthouses and apartments in the UK. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting in the growth and drive of the design department. You will lead your own projects, designing and delivering interior schemes from inception through to installation with a particular bias on FF&E and styling.

Role & Responsibilities

– Attendance at initial site meeting with client
– Initiation and participation in progress meetings with the client
– Recording all meetings in minute format if necessary
– Assisting and managing in the development of design schemes
– Assisting and managing in the implementation of design schemes
– Preparation of presentation material
– Sourcing and procurement of all goods (furniture, fabrics, accessories etc)
– Preparation of elevations, electrical layouts and all other drawings
– Reconciliation of all invoices
– Compilation of accurate and up to date estimates
– Providing accounts with accurate estimates for invoicing purposes
– Coordination of site visits with sub-contractors
– Sourcing and procurement of all goods (furniture, fabrics, accessories etc)
– Placing and chasing orders and invoices
– Coordination of deliveries on site
– Snagging and de-snagging
– A track record of designing and completing a portfolio of projects at a high level
– Ability to liaise with clients and interpreting their requirements
– Vast FF&E design knowledge (both bespoke and OTS) within a variety of budgets
– Work directly with the design director(s) & interior designers to drive the company forward
– Liaise with suppliers and maintain relationships
– Lead installation team on site effectively and efficiently
– Style & dress projects to a 'detailed' show home standard.

Required Skills & Experience

– 3+ years' Interior design, styling and interior architecture experience
– Show-home designing, procurement and installation experience
– Strong supplier knowledge and relationships
– Project management experience
– Experience presenting to and liaising with HNWI clients and developers
– Proficient on Macs and in Adobe Suite software and EstiMac
. Experience working with sub-contractors
– Good administration and organisational skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What you get back

– Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
– 21 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays. Rising 1 day per year of service up to 25 days.
