About the role
Are you a Lead Designer?
Do you have D&B or Traditional experience and has worked in CAT A and CAT B?
Lead – Mid-Weight Technical Designer to join our talented European division and integrate with key members of the wider Area design team in delivering high quality architectural production drawings and information, for both costing and construction purposes from project inception to completion.
Reporting to the European Design Manager and working with wider design community, you will be responsible for the production and management of technical design packages across a series of projects across Europe.
Key responsibilities & skills
*
Produce design drawings and schedules from freehand sketches / instructions
*
Carry out and assist with measured site surveys
*
Attend site and project team meetings with clients and sub-contractors
*
Offer additional design support to senior designers on projects
*
Assist with document management of live project sites
*
Support the team on site and manage contractor queries
*
Minimum of 1 year professional experience in an architectural or interior design field
*
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
*
Experienced in producing high-quality technical drawings and CAD files
*
Revit experience would be advantageous
*
Experience solving technical problems or issues
*
Ability to build and maintain relationships, internally and externally
*
Working knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage
*

Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines

Willingness and ability to travel across Europe
