An eminent AJ100 Architectural practice are looking to recruit talented Architectural Technologists at varying levels due to an exciting increase in project pipeline. This means that opportunities also exist at a junior level too!

The practice have successfully delivered projects across the residential, commercial, education and manufacturing sectors for decades and their successes look set to continue well into the future with the awarding of a number of significant schemes.

For this particular Architectural Technologist role, you will be required to join the team in Birmingham responsible for producing projects largely within both the large-scale Residential and Education sectors. As such, experience within these sectors will be highly sought after!

The ideal Architectural Technologist will need be proficient in running medium-sized projects from Stage 3 onwards. They will also come with experience in leading a team – with the capability of liaising with clients and consultants effectively.

We also be looking for candidates who possess experience in BIM and working in a 3D environment, with knowledge about clash detection and coordinating with consultants' information. ArchiCAD proficiency would be ideal although training can be provided to the right candidate.

The successful Architectural Technologist will work directly with Associate Directors and Project Architects in collating, organising, investigating and producing technical information for use during the development of the project design as well as adopting the role of Project Lead from commencement of RIBA stage 4 through to completion.

Architectural Technologist Requirements:

Relevant Technical Qualification – Degree/HNC/HND
Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
Previous experience within the Residential & Education sectors – desirable
Excellent Communication/Presentation skills
Sound knowledge of current UK legislation
Hand-Drawing/Sketching skills – advantageous
Full UK Driving licence
