An ever growing, rewarding business based in Aldridge is seeking an experienced design engineer to join their friendly team.
Permanent 08:30 – 17:00
Job Duties
To lead the design process from concept to manufacture.
Assess the needs of customers.
Consult with design manager and production manager to assess shop floor needs.
Communicate designs and drawings.
Create comprehensive models and fully detailed engineering drawings.
Design for manufacture – adapt customer designs to suit manufacturing processes.
Support, create and maintain CNC programs.Requirements
3+ Years experience in sheet metal design
Solidworks – Essential
Radan – Essential
Previous experience of programming CNC laser machines – Desirable
Previous experience of programming CNC press brake machines – Desirable
