Trainee CAD Technician
Our Client based in the Yateley area is looking for a Trainee CAD Technician on a permanent basis for an immediate start.
The Package for Trainee CAD Technician:
• Salary of between £22,000 and £25,000 depending on experience
• 8:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime ,40 hours per week
• Permanent, full time role
• Parking on site available
The Role for Trainee CAD Technician:
Our client is looking to recruit someone with demonstrable experience in product design, including mechanical and structural awareness
Software knowledge should include Autocad, and Illustrator as well as general competency in all things IT.
Your main role would include converting customer briefs into working drawings and machine files.
You would need a good understanding of mechanical and structural knowledge which is essential as you will be providing details for manufacture
Trainee CAD Technician Responsibilities:
Responsible for design and creation of 2D and 3D technical manufacturing data including models and drawings, completing projects On-Time, within the project Budget, performing to high standards of Quality, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the Design Department.
Trainee CAD Technician Professional Experience and Skills:
Training and support will be provided however previous experience using illustrator or sign packages is desirable. Being tech savvy is a must as you will be trained on different software.
