Role and Responsibilities:
Participate and lead development of deliverables, specifications, and company standards on engineering projects
Undertake detailed design activities for modifications to existing facilities, and for new build plants
Develop intelligent 3D models for equipment, instrumentation and mechanical in-line items
Lead process & utility piping routing design, piping support design and connections to equipment in-line with company specifications
Review installation, accessibility, serviceability, lifting, and equipment spacing requirements in-line with company specifications and operational requirements
Person Specification:
HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Design, Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (preferred) or equivalent qualification.
Experience in piping and process plant design and detailed engineering
Experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D
Experience developing 3D models of process plant using established 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Intergraph Smart Plant 3D, PDMS or equivalent)
Due to the company’s size, candidates will be required to be flexible in the roles they perform within the business.
