Overview:
As a packaging designer, you will be passionate about FMCG packaging and will be able to demonstrate this with on point, vibrant designs.
Role:
You will be proactive in creating new, original and exciting design concepts.
You will oversee design projects from initial briefing through to final presentation, making sure deadlines are met within project budget.
Check and proof read designs to ensure a consistent, high level of precision and accuracy.
Work with style guides and brand guidelines to ensure brand compliance.
Liaise directly with Account Managers to ensure full understanding of the client's brief.
Present designs on brief, on time, in budget and in line with the company's values and to client satisfaction in a fast paced environment.
Attend design and project briefings.
Become more independent, analytical and creative in all disciplines.
Assist with image searches for new design projects.
Assist members of the Design team as requested.

Requirements:
3+ years' experience in packaging design
Ability to take ownership and responsibility to take your design projects from initial brief through to final presentation
An outstanding portfolio of commercial food packaging design
Working to tight deadlines, you know how choose the best process and tools to deliver on time and in budget
Strong typographical and illustration skills
Experience of working with style guides
Able to collaborate creatively across teams
Ability to cope with shifting priorities
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite/CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
