Gluing Operator – Packaging
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £33000 – £37000/annum
ROLE: Gluing Operator
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Hours: 36 hours per week
They run a 3 shift pattern which includes nightshift
The pattern is:
Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday – Days 6 am till 6 pm, 4 days off
Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday- Nights 6 pm till 6 am, 7 days off
Thursday / Friday / Saturday – Days 6 am till 6 pm, 1 day off

My client are a leading provider of packaging and direct mail solutions and are looking for an experienced Gluing Operator to join their expanding team.
The candidate will have various progression and development opportunities if they want them.
To operator a Signature high speed gluer / Hoson high speed gluer
Manage a team of 2 assistants
Various carton styles – Crash lock / straight line / 4 corner / 6 corner
To run the machine at high speed while maintaining quality.
Excellent attention to detail required
Clear communication at all levels
Clear documentation to BRC / ISO standard required
Fault finding
Maintenance skills
