Trainee Brass CNC Programmer/Operator

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Trainee Brass CNC Programmer for their client based on the outskirts of Clacton.
Please note that the company are located in a rural location so own transport is essential.
Our client is looking for an artistic and enthusiastic individual to join their Brass die department.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has undertaken an engineering apprenticeship to learn about the hot foil industry with a keenness to progress.
Strong computer and software skills will be essential for this role. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be advantageous.
Main duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will receive training in importing files into artcam / carveco and programming them using CNC equipment
Hand finish blocks using bandsaws and other hand tools – training provided.
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues
Think both creatively and logically to help your team resolve design and development problems.
Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
Assist with compilation of as built drawings/production orders where requested.
Ensure compliance documents are completed accurately.
