Job Title: Large Format Print Operator & Finisher (UV Flatbed & Roll to Roll)
Location: Godstone
Salary: Up to £30k Depending on experience
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-17:00
A well established and leading producer of large format digital print services is currently looking to recruit an experienced large format digital printer and finisher to join their production team.
You will be responsible for producing high quality large format digital prints using a variety of machines and substrates. Previous experience is essential and you will ideally currently be working in a similar role.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up, operating and laminating a variety of large format digital printers such as HP Latex
Progressing jobs through RIP software and outputting to digital printers
Quality checking all work ensuring it is output to the highest standard
Routine maintenance of machinery
Finishing such as Rolls Roller, Summa Cutter, laminating and mountingYou will have:
· A strong background as an experienced large format operator, ideally UV Flatbed and roll to roll printers
· Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application
· Zund and / or Kongsberg cutting experience is advantageous
· Good organisational skills and proven leader
· Knowledge of RIP software
· Competent in all Adobe Creative suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
· Excellent communication skills
· Flexibility for working hours, working overtime at short notice if needed
