Senior Landscape Architect
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £38000 – £42000/annum
Senior Landscape Architect required to join a busy Sheffield Studio to work on an exciting mixture of new developments across the North-West region.
Our client are an established studio, perhaps one of the most recognised names in all of Architecture, Engineering and Construction. They have a large office in Manchester city centre and a number of extremely exciting projects ready to break ground in the coming months. It is on the back of this particularly busy period that they are looking to recruit additional, experienced people to join their team, including a Senior Landscape Architect.
They work collaboratively on a vast array of project types including Residential schemes, Commercial developments, Education & Healthcare-focused projects and those across several other sectors. Their established team of directors are some of the most experienced Designers in the North of England. They have a track record for designing unique projects and for nurturing the best talent. There is a clear, un-restricted path for progression here too. Experienced individuals will be given the opportunity to learn new skills and to thrive in a busy design studio.
Some of the key criteria for this role include:
* Degree and / or post graduate qualification in relevant discipline (i.e. Landscape Architecture)
* 3 years' minimum post-qualification industry experience
* Experience working in a consultancy environment and working towards chartership highly desirable
* Experience in using CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Modelling Software and preparing hand drawings
* Communication through hand drawing is also invaluable
* Good plant knowledge
* Good report writing skills
* Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English
* Sound grounding in landscape planning including LVIAs is preferred but not essential
* A UK driver's license is preferred but not essential.
