Payroll Supervisor

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum

Responsibilities

Manage the processing of the monthly payroll ensuring a high standard of accuracy
Predict and plan for future payroll requirements (through the use of reports, advice and experience)
Ensure the combined payroll system is enhanced and used appropriately to increase efficiencies across the UK and Ireland
Manage End of Year processes and ensure legal obligations are met
Manage benefits and incentive payments through the PAYE settlement agreement
Ensure P11D's are produced on time, in accordance with legal obligations and in liaison with finance
Ensure the overall perception of payroll professionalism is maintained
Identify processes that may be streamlined to increase productivity
Work with other departments to offer advice and make recommendations regarding the compensation and benefits packages
Ensure salaries and benefits meet legal obligations
Assist the HR Director with job analysis and compensation classifications as and when needed
Assist HR Director in evaluating and bench marking data on the benefit plans in place.
Manage GDPR obligations pertaining to the job role in conjunction with the HR DirectorRole requirements

Extensive Payroll experience
Numerate with an eye for detail
Good knowledge of MS Office
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in a team environment with ability to work on own initiative
Articulate with excellent writing skills
Discreet, professional with good communication skills
Exceptionally well organised and efficient
Ability to work to tight deadlines
