CAD Design Engineer

Are you an experienced CAD Design Engineer with an Engineering and Design background looking for a new role? If so, we are currently recruiting a CAD Design Engineer ( SolidWorks ) for a large manufacturing business based in Kingswinford.
Day to day activities as a CAD Design Engineer will include:
Design standard product and variations of standard ( SolidWorks )
Design bespoke specials ( SolidWorks )
Produce blank form parts to pass through to the Cad/Cam Engineers
Create standard shop floor production drawings
Create shop floor production drawings for bespoke specials
Produce customer drawings requested by BDM's
BOMs ( bills of materials ) using company system SAGE
Liaise with internal and external sales team on current and future orders / projects
Generate rendered images through SolidWorks for Marketing
Create Radan turret Programs
Occasional Site visits along with BDM'sWhat will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
Essential
Experienced and proficient in the use of 3D software SolidWorks
Engineering and Design background
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and within a team
PunctualAdvantageous
Experience working with sheet metal
Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
MS office experience
Understanding of BOM's ( bills of materials )
Experience of using RADAN 2D software ( training will be required if not )
A certification in SolidWorks ProfessionalWhat's on offer?
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
