Design Engineer – Transformers required. My client is a specialist in the design and manufacture of transformers. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to expand their design team with an experienced Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and be experienced with transformer design. You must also be based within commutable distance of Middlesbrough.
Design Engineer – Transformers Position Overview
Preparing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Generating 2D and 3D drawings for colleagues and customers
Communicating with customers and design team to ensure transformer requirements are established
Sizing circuit conductors
Producing product operation and maintenance manuals
Creating product data sheets
New product development

Design Engineer – Transformers Position Requirements
A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Industry experience working within transformer design essential
Confident using 2D and 3D design software
Experience preparing electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
Proficient sizing circuit conductors
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of electrical distribution and protection within transformer enclosures
Based within commutable distance of Middlesbrough
Design Engineer – Transformers Position Remuneration
Salary Competitive DOE
Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays
