Trainee Sales Designer

This role is designed to give you a feel for the various aspects of the business with the overall aim to become a full-time kitchen, Bedroom and Home Office Sales Designer.

As well as being a useful member of the team, each part of this role will equip you with the knowledge of the day to day running of the showroom and will provide vital experience dealing with customers and getting to know the products.

To be successful you need to be a positive and highly motivated person with a proactive approach and a natural ability to sell.

Whilst we will be expecting you to be sales driven and able to close deals, your style must be professional and not aggressive.

Confident and presentable with excellent time management and organisational skills, you must be able to communicate well and build rapport. You will need to be able to manage a substantial workload and work to tight deadlines. The role will require you to maximise sales and offer exceptional service maintaining our excellent reputation which we have built over the last 37 years.

Sales Designer
Main Responsibilities once trained.
Conduct site surveys, take accurate and detailed measuring. Take a full briefing to include budget indication, keeping
notes as appropriate.
Visit clients by appointment generated by the showroom.
Produce accurate estimates and visually attractive designs.
Administrative attention to detail with accurate sales paperwork, ready to order.
Maintain up to date product knowledge.
Liaise with suppliers as required.
Provide showroom support.
Flexible working hours including evenings as required.
Generate new leads.
Accurate pricing of jobs to achieve required margin.
Communicate directly with fitters during installation.
During and after Sales Care

General Responsibilities
Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude to customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Assisting with keeping all areas of the premises immaculate in terms of general maintenance and cleaning.
To promote the business and increase turnover, efficiency and profitability.
Assisting with other duties as required.
