As on of the key designers, your role will be to design visually impactful exhibition stands for a diverse range of portfolio clients. You’ll need a strong eye for design detail combined with a comprehensive technical knowledge to execute your concepts into reality.
You will be integral to the current design team working closely with wider creative teams enabling designs to really stand out.
You will be working closely with their sales channels and interpretating the brief given to allow clients to deliver their objectives, manage the project budgets and delivering the exceptional results for their customers ROI.
You will need to have experience working with the exhibiting, events or experiential sectors coupled with excellent communication skills, proficiency in design software with a high level of technical accuracy.
Day to day duties of this role include:
* Designing a creating a visually appealing exhibition stand for clients
* Understand where the integration of company engagement tools will enhance and help deliver the clients exhibiting purpose
* Identify their clients brand, target audience, messaging and goals for their exhibiting programme before bringing them to life
* Attending pre-briefing meetings to aid the successfully capture of the full scope and understanding of the project
* Present design concepts, mood boards and 3D renderings to internal stakeholders and clients for feedback and approval.
* Handing over your design to our Project Management team for delivery, communicating with them on the rationale, integration and material finishes around your concept
* Staying current with industry trends, technologies and materials finishes
Skills and Experience Required
* Experienced in 3D exhibition stand design working within the exhibition, events, or experiential sectors
* A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and experience in delivering successful projects (and be able to tell us why they were successful!)
* Ability to move and act quickly in a fast-paced environment
* Good project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong, hands-on experience with CAD software (Ideally VectorWorks)
* Strong visual rendering skills (Ideally using Artlantis or TwinMotion)
* Design software knowledge for the creation of presentation materials using the Adobe Creative suite of software (Ideally InDesign or Photoshop)
