Part Time Assistant Graphic Designer

24 hours per week / 3 days (flexible) c. £16,000 – £19,000 (FTE upto c. £31,500)
Our client is a leading distributor in the UK and are looking to recruit a confident and competent Assistant Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be a forward thinking, driven individual who will ensure that the business maintains their high design standards.
We are looking for someone with ideally a minimum 2 years’ experience in a design role who can demonstrate a clear understanding of current trends & best practice. There is good opportunity for growth & development for the right individual within this role.
The role will cover a wide range of design and general administration tasks and requires excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities:
* Completing and adhering to design briefs for digital and print based media including email, websites, print based materials and social media channels.
* General website maintenance and editing.
* Creating new materials that help expand the business brands, and support marketing campaigns
* Working with key people to create internal graphics to support work in their departments
* General Administration tasks
The ideal candidate:

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Keen attention to detail
* Excellent written English and strong verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* A great team player but capable of working independently when required
* Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and adhere to tight deadlines
* Ability to interpret design briefs
* Experienced in photography & videography
