Location: Farnham / Hybrid (Minimum 2 days a week studio-based)
We are a growing studio of multi-talented designers specialising in creative customer journeys for leading games, entertainment, tech, and lifestyle industries on a global stage. We are looking for a passionate Motion Designer to join our digital team to manage, create, and deliver digital projects for a roster of exciting brands. You will work alongside a progressive and dedicated team of versatile designers within a highly creative studio in Farnham, Surrey. This role is maternity cover with the prospect of full time employment after 10 months.
JOB SPECIFICATION: As Motion Designer you will have a passion for telling engaging and dynamic stories by combining motion graphics, animation, design and video to produce standout deliverables that excite and educate audiences across social, eCommerce, and in-store channels.
Key responsibilities include: Motion Designer / Senior Video Editor/ Creative Video Editor
Create and deliver video content from concept development & storyboarding through to final production, output to industry standard;
Set accurate estimates on delivery expectations and send status updates to key stakeholders;
Ability to understand and contribute to creative strategy;
Manage priorities and workload effectively to meet expectations and deadlines;
Work in partnership with internal teams to understand and manage client needs;
No house style: Recommend, share, and implement new design and motion techniques to keep things fresh;
Support and nurture motion designer skills to your level of expertise.
Essential abilities required: Motion Designer / Senior Video Editor/ Creative Video Editor
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, advanced in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition;
Strong understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio visual content;
Organised, methodical and consistent approach to work;
Strong creative problem-solving skills;
Can understand and adhere to brand guidelines;
Confident and effective communication with clients and colleagues;
Can work on multiple projects at once;
Thrive in a fast-paced environment to set deadlines;
Comfortable working on your own or as part of a team;
Carry an exceptional eye for detail, and high standards;
5+ years of experience preferred.
Experience in a commercial environment, as well as pre-production and/or photography would be an advantage but not essential.
