Inventory Planner
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum £ dependent upon experience
As Inventory (continuity) Planner, your role will be to manage the merchandising for a folio of apparel brands, covering areas including forecasting, production order management, stock management and sales analysis.
This role sits within the Operations Department. Part of a team which are factory facing, to manage and control global capacity, manufacture and delivery of all finishes goods into 3 global warehouses working with seasonal/fashion launch activities and continuity manufacturing etc.
Inventory Planner – The Job Outline
* Multi-brand management of stock levels, production deliveries etc.
* Oversee stock management for continuity styles, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled.
* Oversee WIP, working to critical path, production plans and ensuring delivery KPIs are achieved.
* Production order management, ensuring correct volumes produced and in desired ratios.
* Multi-site stock management, working to ensure stock is at desired levels in respective locations via direct ship and intercompany stock transfers.
* Manage customer order books, reviewing set customer orders/replenishments, working to forecasts and sales analysis.
* Monthly reporting and analysis of stock, forecast and sales.
* Oversee Continuity Merchandising files, working with team to review and analyse
* Contribute to Team progression and growth.
* Contribute to existing and drive new ways of workings with departments in the business
Inventory Planner – The Person Specification
* Similar experience within Merchandising/ Planning role.
* Capability to work independently and to work with others within immediate team and the wider business.
* Self motivated and passionate about the role and attention to detail
* Highly organised, flexible to change with the ability to prioritize workloads as necessary.
* Analytical and commercially aware, to manage, collate and present complex data.
* Great communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent MS office and Excel skills are essential.
* A real team player with ‘can do’ attitude, keen to use KPI/Metrics to show ongoing improvements to the business.
Based on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border this role will offer WFH after probation period
