About us

Rock Power Connections is a leading Independent Connections Provider.

We're specialists in designing and installing new and upgraded electricity connections to business, industry and commercial properties. We offer the highest quality for the best value and have a proven track record of quality and safety. Rock Power Connections offers all of its customers a full project management and delivery service from initial design to the final switch-on.

About the role

The role of Design Manager is pivotal to controlling and developing the design phase of all projects across new connections and EV charging.

Responsibilities are essentially divided into two key workstreams:

Design Operations – management of the design process and workflow; utilising internal and external design teams to deliver project design requirements on-time, on-budget and to the appropriate quality standards
Continuous Improvement – lead the strategy and implementation of change to the Design function; ensuring that the processes, resources and output are fit to support the planned business growth from 2023 onwards
Excellent process and people management skills are essential to this role, as well as an established background in the design and install of HV and LV electrical infrastructure. We are looking for a strong, driven candidate to come in and build a Design function that can keep pace with our industry-leading growth in ICP and EV delivery.

The list is not exhaustive and the job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of activities to enable the Company to succeed.

Rewards

Join our growing organisation and you'll enjoy benefits including a generous holiday allowance, a company pension scheme, and paid sickness leave.
