Conrad Consulting's latest vacancy is offering the chance for a motivated, senior Architectural Technician or Technologist to join a Multi-disciplinary Architectural, Building Consultancy, and Interior Design Practice as they embark on a 3+ year programme of high-spec project work in the North of England.
Based in Yorkshire and London, our client is a well-known, large Architecture practice with an excellent working culture and Company Values. Their experienced Architectural team has a stellar reputation for having designed and delivered numerous high quality projects across the breadth of the UK. Their portfolio of work spans multiple sectors, many of these on behalf of repeat clients that have been returning for decades.
An outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to become an important part of this company. This will be a very unique role focusing on a group of projects in the Northwest of England. These buildings will be high-spec and complex, so we are looking for a competent individual to take real leadership in their design and development.
Ideally, we are looking for a suitably qualified Senior Architectural Technician with at least seven years practical experience within the UK Architectural industry. The Project-Lead Architectural Technician will be required to call upon their strong technical background to assist with the technical delivery team and gain valuable job running experience.
REVIT is the main software package used within the practice so would be a highly essential attribute for you to have – Architectural Technicians with advanced BIM experience will also be looked upon favourably.
Project-lead Architectural Technician Requirements:
A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
Proven experience in a Senior technician role
Demonstrable experience operating on large scale projects/developments.
High proficiency using both AutoCAD, REVIT (BIM).
Confident job runner with previous project delivery experience
Broad experience in the production of technical drawing/detailing packages
An awareness of standard UK Building regulations
Confident in coordinating and liaising with other consultants.
A flexible and positive approach to working with a team or autonomously.
Security clearance (Or ability to obtain) would be beneficial.
Be based in the North West of England
The successful, Project-Lead Architectural Technician will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team and to take real ownership of a fantastic, large-scale project. There is the option to work from home when required, alongside occasional site visits in Cumbria and to the company head office in Yorkshire. Travel and accommodation expenses can be discussed.
