A successful Timber Frame company seeks a new Timber Frame designer to join our roster and work alongside our production team and site management team. To provide designs and manufacturing information for a multitude of projects, at our production facility in Little Addington near Kettering.
We would expect applicants to be:
· Proficient with Autocad software.
· Experience in timber frame design.
· Good understanding of timber frame systems / technical knowledge of timber frame systems
· Good understanding of timber floor systems / technical knowledge of timber floor systems
· Good understanding of Roof truss design / technical knowledge of Roof truss design.
· Experience using industry specific software’s (e.g. Consultec,Woodengine, Mitek Pamir,Wolf)
· Be able to work as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with architects, engineers and clients.
Your role as Timber Frame Designer will be to work closely with your colleagues in others roles well as keeping in regular communication with clients, contractors Architects to ensure timely delivery of projects. To provide clear and concise drawings for both our manufacturing facility and our site teams. If you need to update your knowledge, training will provide for you on software and/or products.
Hours 37.5 per week
Salary negotiable and dependent on experience
Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
