Design Technology (DT) Technician

Salary : £13.50 – £15.00/hour
Are you an experienced Design and Technology Technician looking for a new opportunity? We are an agency currently seeking a skilled candidate to fill a position at an outstanding school in Ealing.
As a Design and Technology Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the school's design and technology curriculum, ensuring that students have access to the latest tools and equipment. You will be working closely with teachers and students to create a stimulating and dynamic learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with laser cutting, saws, and product design, as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations. Experience as a DT tech is desirable but not essential.
You will be responsible for maintaining the workshop and equipment, ensuring that it is safe and ready to use. Additionally, you will assist with lesson preparation and provide support to teachers during class time.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and technology and has a natural ability to work with young people. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
