We are looking for an enthusiastic Software developer in test whose expertise are within JavaScript and its platforms to join one of the leading streaming companies in Europe to develop their capabilities further and be part of an engaging project which will increase their skills as a developer in test. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
– Drive/Lead testing, best practices and
support the direction of the automation framework and code structure
– Refactoring existing code to improve its
design and identifying where automated tests can be pushed further down the
pyramid
– Create and maintain Cypress library and
framework
– Create and maintain CI/CD pipeline to
automate app release process and improve reporting capability
– Actively looks into POC's / research new
ideas and technologies to support teams development process
– Create an automation test strategy for
the delivery of our application
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
– 6+ years full-stack test automation
experience
– Experience of improving testability of
the application, creating and maintaining Cypress tests and libraries
– Experience building and maintaining CI/CD
pipeline
– Should be an Automation Subject Matter
Expert using JavaScript / Typescript
– Able to discuss automation
requirements/problems and define an approach/solution to implement changes
– Bringing new ideas to the team, knowledge
sharing at test team meetings and community building
– Contributing and driving both testing and
test automation process improvements
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
– TV apps/OTT testing experience
– JavaScript programming with node
– Non-Functional testing experience
including performance and security
– Experience of testing REST API, GraphQL
and Websocket
