Our client, a well-established architectural firm based in the West Midlands, is currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technician with experience in the residential sector to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have excellent Revit skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical drawings and models.
Responsibilities:
* Produce detailed technical drawings, working drawings, and specifications for residential projects
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure that designs are technically feasible and meet building regulations and standards
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met
* Monitor project progress and provide technical support to the project team as required
* Maintain accurate records of project data, including drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and codes of practice.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
* Significant experience working on residential projects
* Excellent knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
* Strong technical ability and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of relevant UK building regulations and standards
Salary commensurate with experience.
