Junior Graphic Designer

Salary : £22000 – £26000/annum Free Onsite Parking
This exciting and creative gift product company is seeking a skilled & multi-disciplined person to join their friendly team, working across a range of tasks from design concepts, art working through development phases, to final products.
Working both independently and collaboratively with the sales and design team on several projects, you'll be developing trend-led designs to meet key deadlines. You'll also be getting involved with department and customer presentations, as well as supporting new product development.
To thrive in this role, you will have graphic design experience with good knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator, some experience working in categories such as textiles, ceramics or stationery would be a benefit. An interest in gift consumer products is also advantageous. Most importantly though, you will be eager to get stuck in with a small, close knit creative team and have a positive and fun can-do attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
Graphic design
Creating and editing designs and artworks for presentation. Through to accurately art working final designs for both UK and Far East production.
Under direction researching trends, designs, and colours to be ahead of the competition for customer/ in-house projects.
Create web and social media content. Managing web and lifestyle photography. Developing competitor and market awareness of off and online selling.
Creating & updating product presentations for the Company's ranges. Supporting sales with required materials to be used for customer meetings and product launchesProduct development
Assisting with the admin side of product development, product specifications and supplier follow up.
Managing of checkpoints in critical path. Updating critical path with latest status and actions.
Sample library management.
Liaising with in-house production team to ensure good execution, on time.
Requirements for this role:
Experience & skills working across graphics, print, textiles, with a demonstratable portfolio showcasing previous work
Advanced Photoshop & Illustrator skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Sharp attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects meeting deadlines
